When recording the FM radio, selectable recording quality is available, choose from 32Kbps to 192Kbps. when using the voice record function you can also choose the same bit rates as FM recording, thus giving you great flexibilty when making voice notes. One of the features which make the DAH-1000 so cool and sexy is the ""negative graphic LCD"", unlike the usual backlit displays, this one lights just the text and icons, whilst the rest of the screen remains black, this makes it very clear and easy to read. With a choice of 7 different equaliser modes and two (yes two!) user adjustable EQ, making the DAH-1000 sound just how you prefer it to, is a bit of a doddle. Once in the menu system, there is access to adjustable sleep modes and auto power off settings, variable speed search for quicker navigation between tracks, this player has really been thought out well.... nice one Hyunwon. While the DAH-1000 isn't classed as a true ""USB pen drive"" you can still drag and drop your files, whether MP3, WMA, word docs, JPEGS, spread sheets etc etc using windows explorer. Add the 12 hour battery life from 1 x AAA battery, firmware upgradeble operting system and you have the makings of a really top player.... no wonder at time writing its our no.3 best seller.
